So, I picked this restaurant because of the high rating and was looking forward to an amazing experience but what an disappointment… I could only give 2 ⭐️ for: - easy parking which is right infront of the restaurant - the food at least the salad tasted good Why it was disappointing? Let me share: - I ordered an appetiser salad which was sweet potato and apple CHF11.50 but when I got the salad, it was so huge and I double confirmed that it was appetiser but then when I got my bill it was CHF15.50 because the waiter has decided for me that I needed bigger meal???!!! So if you’re dining here, please make sure your meal size is not decided by the restaurant unless they pay for it…. 🤨 - we didn’t order wine and the wine glass was left on the table. This would actually disqualify the restaurant from table attique…. And the table was small if clearing it would give space then it should be looked at - when we sat, there was only drinks menu given so I when to ask for the food menu and I was told that after ordering drinks then the food menu will be served…. But I just want to eat 😅…. May I?! So hope this justifies my experience. What a pity….

She even went along with a little prank my uncle played on us saying that he put 9 crembrules on my moms card for everyone. She’s funny and chill. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Great relaxing ambiance. And the Caesar salad was insane. Best I’ve ever had no exaggeration. I highly recommend The Pinch.

Leider war ich dafür vom Hauptgang enttäuscht. Ich bestellte "Eggs Benedict mit Lachs", da ich mich mit vielen Brunchs auskenne, freute ich mich sehr darauf. Leider war die Sauce Hollandaise kalt und brüchig (die Milch brach, sie war nicht cremig siehe Foto), der Lachs war ebenfalls eiskalt, was das ganze Gericht zerstörte. Ein Egg Benedict auf Zopf muss für mich zwingend warm sein, mit warmer Sauce. Auch der Salat am Rande war eher ein Fertigsalat und für meinen Geschmack zu wenig frisch. Schade, da dieses Gericht sonst ein Volltreffer sein könnte. Die Pancakes jedoch waren sehr fluffig und warm, da gibt es also gar nichts auszusetzen - daher 3 Sterne. Ich hoffe sehr, dass diese konstruktive Kritik ihren Anklang findet!

Ich war letzten Samstag zum ersten Mal im Pinch. Da ich schon viele Meinungen gehört hatte, war ich super gespannt. Das Ambiente dürfte gemütlicher sein. Waren zu Zweit zum Brunch hier. Leider hat nicht alles so gepasst:

Ambiente Die Einrichtung ist toll gemacht und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Sehr gemütlich!

Service Für uns völlig unverständlich, dass nur eine Person für den Service zuständig ist, obwohl mehr als die Hälfte der Plätze besetzt sind. Corona hin oder her - hier muss Unterstützung her (!), die Servierkraft tat uns wirklich Leid. Der pure Stress war ihr anzusehen. So mussten wir leider auch erstmal 15min auf die Speisekarte warten.

Essen/Trinken Hatten 2x pochierte Eier bestellt. Leider waren ausnahmslos alle Eier (mehrere) komplett durchgekocht und hart - Enttäuschung beim aufschneiden. Die Servicekraft hat uns dann im Stress noch neue Eier organisiert, welche dann wunderbar pochiert waren. Leider war dann der Rest schon kalt. Dazu haben wir sehr braune, zum Teil schon schwarze Avocado serviert bekommen welche an manchen Stellen auch hart war wie ein Apfel. So etwas sollte nicht an den Gast gehen. Das Birchermüsli und der Fruchtsalat waren hingegen sehr lecker und auch frisch. Beim Kaffee sehr schade, dass keine Laktosefreie Milch zu haben war.

Preis/Leistung Ein Brunch für 2 Personen für über 60 CHF sollte auch stimmig sein. Für uns stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis im "The Pinch" nicht. Leider keine...
