Perfect price. Perfect taste. Perfectly friendly service. If you haven't had Curry Wurst you should absolutely try it here. If you have had curry wurst you should still try it here because it is the best example of the dish I have ever had. And I live in Germany where it started. They serve it with a nice thick piece of the freshest bread. You know the food is good when the locals eat there. They knew some by name. I ordered the burger, smelled and saw the curry wurst and had to try it! The hamburger was equally delicious. I wonder if the 100% beef patties are locally sourced? They are delicious. The bread was soft, and warmly toasted with the perfect slightly crispy exterior. The best part was the interactions with the people, who I believe were the owners. Are you kidding me!? What a great little treat! This was one of our favorite food joints throughout our trip to Switzerland this time, and we went to a bunch on michelin guide joints. The falkonbier - the local lager - was just perfect. Literally, couldn't design a better tasting beer. The veal bratwursts were just next level, especially given we don't eat pork. What can I say. Very basic, but life-saving if you’re hungry and trying to avoid a tourist trap—which, sadly, this town had plenty of. Overpriced restaurants with the same tired “pasta” menu were everywhere. This place, on the other hand, looked rough, tasted average, but served a chicken burger that filled our stomachs and didn’t rob us blind like every other restaurant in the country. Would I recommend it? Depends on how hungry and tired you are. Would I return if I had the chance? Probably not....
