A WARM Thai experience! My friend comes to Switzerland a few times a year for work. She’s a singer. The family who hires her are always so sweet, and took us out to dinner. They brought us to Stein am Rhein, which I had visited the day prior, so I got to see just how cute this little town is in Switzerland! They asked us if we like Thai, and my friend and I are both New Yorkers, so the answer is absolutely YAS! Lol, but not everyone does Thai food right, so I am thoroughly skeptical. The family said that they had been before and really loved it, so I was a bit less skeptical lol. We walked into to this small, cute restaurant, with photos and decoration all around. It felt like a small, family-run restaurant. It made me feel at home. Our waiter was this guy who was super sweet and kind. He spoke both German and English and was absolutely charming! We ordered apps for the table, drinks, plus entrees. I ordered a red wine which was perfect and dry, which I love! For the apps, we all shared chicken satay, which was beautifully grilled, with a yummy peanut sauce, as well as this salad that was bright and fresh! For my entree, I ordered pad Thai….and again, as a New Yorker, I am skeptical, especially when it comes to pad Thai. Very few do it right, based on my experience. Pink got it right though! This pad Thai was so nicely balanced, the noodles were nicely cooked, had eggs, scallions, and more! I got mine made with chicken for some protein, and it was the right move! It was a big portion! I was nice and full, which I appreciate. A lovely, WARM little gem in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland! Go check out! You...

The Missus and I, the boys & GF had dinner at Pok Thaifood in the historical part of Stein am Rhein. It is not an overly large restaurant inside so seating can be tight when busy. The menu is restricted but that only means those dishes are prepared well. Our curry and noodle dishes were all delicious and made from fresh ingredients. Service was fast and friendly. The dinner was very price efficient relative to the other eateries in the area. We would visit...

We were part of a tour that have an hour to get lunch before taking off after a tour of this village. We stumbled upon this gem of a place where they freshly made a vegetarian tofu Pad Thai which was very delicious ! We added yellow chicken curry and it was perfect. Food came out quick and hot and we were able to sit down at their taller table to enjoy the view outside of people bustling around. Chef is Thai and our front desk gal is Seline very helpful and spoke...

My husband and I were given a kind welcome by the owner. The food was delicious! I had Pad Thai with chicken. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the chicken was tender, the bean sprouts had the right amount of crispness, and the sauce was a balance of sweet/savoury/sour that makes Pad Thai such a unique dish.
