Balding man with glasses was condescending to me after I asked a simple question (“is the credit machine working?”) and told me to have patience and ask someone else when he was the one rushing. He told me to say “good afternoon first” to him before asking him my question like I was a child. Is a simple “Hi, excuse me” not enough these days. If you can’t even answer simple questions from customers during a busy afternoon, don’t bother working at a cafe in a tourist town. Post a sign up saying your credit machine isn’t working so people don’t waste their time lining up in your cafe.
