Chakki Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Thun

Dear all,

My girlfriend and I went to have dinner over at Chakki’s today.

She was sceptical about trying the Indonesian food because of the reviews she has seen on here. So she decided to go with a cheeseburger and some fries.

I did order Indonesian for myself though, Chicken Tandoori. It was very nice, very well cooked chicken. The rice and salad which came along with it where lovely too. The sauce was very good but they could have given a bit more of it! (This is based on what i prefer though! Others might think different about that !!)

When my Girlfriend tried my food she instantly regret not ordering Chicken Tandoori for herself !

Don’t believe all negative things you read on here ! Some people are just really picky and when it not what they want or would’ve liked it to be they will be negative about it !

Very racist behaviour from waiter who was extremely rude to us- did not serve us, all tables got water and we had to ask multiple times. My baby daughter needs a straw to drink and even that we had to ask for twice which he quite rudely almost threw at the table.
