Wow. This place is amazing. I went here for dinner and coffee the next morning. Every single thing I ordered here was EXCELLENT. It is expensive but worth every cent. The service was also excellent. Our waitress last night was extremely kind and attentive. Catered to every need sometimes before we asked, same with the server this morning who brought little water cups without us asking. Food is Mexican inspired. Coffee was amazing - I got an espresso type drink and there was a lot of flavor in the espresso. The cream seemed housemade, as did the sour cream that went with my taco. I just can't explain how happy my taste buds were here. And I'm very picky. Thank you cafe parada!! A rare moment I wish there were more than 5 stars to give.

This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations! The food was incredible, with bold, authentic flavors that made every bite a delight. I ordered the guacamole, enchiladas, betabel, and chilaquiles, and everything was simply delicious. The guacamole was fresh and creamy, the enchiladas had the perfect amount of spice, the betabel was a pleasant surprise with its unique taste, and the chilaquiles were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Cocktails are outrageously top notch! The service was also outstanding—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The combination of amazing food and excellent service makes this place a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!

When you think of Cevice, in Switzerland, what do you get? Right, thoughts if your ensurance covers Swiss hospital. BUT what you actually need is a fearless young lady who convinces you to take a risk and a good waiter who convinces that young lady. And you know what? The ceviche was perfect. Duck Mole - even having a Mexican friend, who cooks like the best Mole on 🌎, I still got very satisfied. And that all under 0 influences alcohol because I went for mocktails this time, which were surprisingly good as well. Don't get confused by a very touristic and unpretentious location. Go for it!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We were in Thun for three nights and we decided to get take away dinner from here twice. The host each night was welcoming (even though I came in through the back door) and took my order without any issues, even though they were very busy.

We tried three of their main dinner courses on our first visit; chicken enchiladas, barbacoa tacos and the Mexican bowl (a lunch item they made for us at dinner time). All three were very good and we cleaned our plates. However, on the second night we all ordered the enchiladas (with red sauce). These enchiladas were made with fresh ingredients and the red sauce had a really perfect (perfect) spiciness.

If you are in Thun and looking for some great food then Parada 30 is a must.

P.S We also had the guacamole on each of our two dinners and it was amazing. The flavor was straight out of a home kitchen and the chips were...

We stumbled across this little gem by pure chance during our recent visit to Thun. It's obvious that this place is a labour of love with lots of attention to detail from the interior design down to the plates and glasses - as an interior designer I obviously care about these things ;) Overall great ambiance, very friendly and attentive service by Israel and his team, lovely food (I highly recommend the vegan pumpkin soup) and wine. It's not your usual 'Tex Mex' type of restaurant, but a much more authentic experience. Although the menu is relatively small, they offer great options/ vegan and gluten free alternatives, which was such a welcome change (compared to many other places).
