I sincerely do not understand all the good reviews...

Risotto was terribly dry, and not creamy how it's supposed to be. On top of the pizza there was literally a puddle of water! The waiter said that "this is how it's supposed to be on a pizza with mozzarella di bufala". I hope it is visible on the picture. After we complained that no pizza can be this watery, the guy just said "you ordered it, so you have to pay for it". He was very rude, same as the owner (I suppose that was the owner). We were not offered any alternative dish or reduce in price or any kind of compromise at all. Whatever product you receive on your plate, you have to pay for it because you ordered. After we refused to pay for the food we obviously didn't even try, the manager threatened us to call the police, which we agreed on :) In the end he asked us to pay for the beer, and we left. NEVER EVER have I experienced this kind of service anywhere in Switzerland.

My family and I visited Ristorante Ponte di Legno for the first time in 2024. We enjoyed the food and wonderful service so much that we came back again the following day before leaving Thun. Drini took wonderful care of us and made us feel like family!! We visited again twice in Spring 2025 even though we weren't staying in Thun because we loved it so much our previous visit. The lasagna, pizzas, tomato soup, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti bolognese were just as delicious as we remembered and once again, had outstanding service from Jepa one night and Drini the next. This is a family run restaurant that prides itself in quality food and wonderful service and we look forward to visiting every time we are fortunate enough to be in Switzerland. Many thanks to Drini, Jepa, Nazmi and Afferdita for your kindness and for always finding a table for us to enjoy your delicious food. We look forward to seeing you again...
