Amboss Rampe Bar — Restaurant in Zurich

I am very sorry to give this place a bad name, but what happened to me yesterday should never happen. I asked the waiter for gluten free food as I have celiac disease and he told that all the pinsas were gluten free. So I ordered one. Unfortunately, maybe he was new and didn't understand the situation. So he should have specified the allergy in the kitchen to have a special gluten free pinsa. So in the end I spent the night in emergency vomiting (this is now my reaction after 20 years without gluten, when I am intossicate with a high dose) and received intravenous antiemetics. Now I am well again, but it was a black night. I talk in telephone with the owner and he reassured me that they will improve the menu and the service. I just want to draw attention to this issue: allergies and gluten intolerance are not a choice like being vegetarian/vegan. This can bring to medical emergency problem and has not to be subextinate from food services! I wish in a better condition from Swiss restaurants, that are nowadays years back...

Went here with my brother on a Thursday night after dinner, on the outside the sctructure looks good and it is close to the Zurich HB.

Very Hipster style place, and the forture are old style. The bartender wasn't that kind (but to girls sure he was) and the prices are a bit high. I would understand if it was a high end bar but the quantity of gin (to make an example) was poor and the drinks were served in plastic glasses...

Aviso a músicos que quieran venir a la Jam SESSION que se hace en este lindo local! Tube la mala experiencia de sentirme discriminado tanto por el coordinador del evento como del técnico de sonido. Me tenían apuntado la lista de participantes en el ultimo de los actos con tan solo otro guitarrista, sin bajo, batería, teclado como en todas las anteriores actuaciones. Tube que insistir que quería entrar en el penúltimo acto con toda una formación. Que de hecho fue la ultima actuación. Una vez conseguí subir a tocar en el escenario. El sonido de los monitores en el escenario nunca es el mismo del que sale proyectado hacia el público. Yo no pude percatarme de que mi micrófono no tenía casi ningún volumen hacia fuera por qué en los monitores de escenario si estaba sonando mi micrófono. Tras revisar el vídeo que me grabó un amigo, sentí rabia e impotencia, mis oídos no daban crédito, anularon el volumen de mi micrófono ! Siento vergüenza por decir esto. No puedo imaginarme cual fue el error pero el resultado fue cómo si discriminan a los músicos nuevos. Más que una Jam, parece un festival a modo de lucir a los amiguetes y discriminar los nuevos músicos. Recomiendo encarecidamente averiguar con el coordinador como tiene pensado integrarlos a la Jam. No sea que tengáis, como yo, una gran decepción y...
