I ask all of you guys not to go to this hotel. Due to the global epidemic, our country has imposed a travel ban on public employees. I could not leave my country because I am a public employee. Although we submitted all documents to the hotel, they did neither refund nor postpone our booking to a later date. I think institutions that keep money ahead of relationships and people do not have a work ethic. Please do not choose here.
Edit: When Switzerland declared quarantine across the country, they had to return our money to us as well as everyone else. If Switzerland had not taken this decision, they would never have refunded our money.
We wrote it in 3 different languages so that everyone could read and understand it.

Read moreWhat an absolute mixed bag of an experience, whew. Check in went fine, I was happy to get to my room. Upon arriving, I found that the sink faucet was completely loose - you could touch it with one finger and it would move back and forth. This also meant the hot water for the sink did not work. I was able to let the lady at the cafe know and she called someone. He came and looked, and then moved me to a different room. I appreciate that accommodation but it really was not better. Both rooms have scuffed paint all over the walls. The first room had what looked like grease stains on the fabric walls. The second room - whew - one small window, which when opened revealed a DEAD WASP in the window sill, as well as other dead small flies and some mold. Instead of nice black out shades like the first room, there is realllllly weird outdoor screen thing that is hard to roll down. It doesn’t really block the light - I could still see the light from the building next door.
Also when you look on the map and you think “gee this hotel looks real close to the train station” - yes. You are correct. Not a moment’s silence if your window is open. Good luck.
How does a faucet get this loose? Are the rooms not being checked and cleaned well? Thankfully I just have one night here.
They obviously can’t do anything about the location and I appreciated someone coming to look at my sink at almost 9 pm. Thank you for changing me to a different room, but both rooms are not up to the standard of what the price of...
Read moreOverall pleased with this hotel. Close to the train line and adorable, with just a few key details that should and could be improved.
The hotel website and confirmation details detail how to get TO the hotel, but nothing about how to ACCESS the hotel, which is behind a locked door. It is also accessible by the bakery on the front of the building, but nothing indicated that, either. A search from the older reviews shows that this is not a new problem, and clearly nothing has been done to fix it. Very much a disappointing start to a stay at the hotel.
We got a mid-sized room, which was very cute, and spacious enough for 2. The windows do a wonderful job of insulating the noise from outside. I will say the shower was poorly designed as it is hard to shower without spraying the water out of the designated shower area. Also the sliding door to the bathroom would not stay shut. There is a nespresso machine available for use, and tea and creamer, as well. There is a safe available for use, hangers for clothes, and a large TV. I did find the room to be dim at night, so supplemental lighting would be great, and there are only 2 USB ports for the entire room. A clock in the room would also be handy. All that being said, would stay again, now that we know the quirks - but the hotel really should improve instructions on how to access the place, and fix the...
