TLDR: STAY AWAY! TASTELESS DISGUSTING FOOD! OVERPRICED/SMALL PORTIONS

What a terrible experience ...

We are visiting Zurich and very much wanted to have some good Korean bbq. After doing some research we found Miss Miu and jumped on the train to go have dinner. Upon arriving we were informed that it is REQUIRED to make a reservation before 6 pm to enjoy Korean bbq which was not mentioned on the website. Still we decided to stay and try the restaurant. After mere minutes of sitting a waitress dropped a ton of glassware that shattered everywhere including on our persons and tables (shards of glass on the table we were about to eat on), no one apologized and instead we were hit with a passive aggressive "I didn't mean too" when informing the server that the glass had covered our space (That was the moment we really should have left). We still kept an open mind noting the pretty cool atmosphere and menu selections. We ordered a couple things which came out almost immediately (another warning sign).

The Food was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING....

Nothing was fresh, Nothing was made to order, Nothing was tasty

The shrimp dumplings = incredibly mushy and flavorless

The Beef Bao Buns = known worldwide for their fluffiness (there was none - very doughy), flavor again lacking, dry

Miso Ramen = Tasteless broth , almost seemed as they mixed water and soy sauce together , quite literally the worst ramen broth I have ever tasted in my life

Chicken Bulgogi = miss-advertised on menu, shown as this big sizzling platter but was absolutely tiny (maybe a quarter of the size that was interpreted by our table) and the plate was in fact not sizzling, the chicken tasted as if it had been made much earlier in the day and was sitting in a big pot of broth water, the rice that was included was cold and mushy, the kimchi was not fresh and tasteless (not even kimchi/no spice/not fermented), the lettuce wraps tasted dirty.

It was quite evident that the food wasn't cooked with any thought and/or care. The fact it arrived fast and lacked taste and heat tells me it was sitting out and not cooked to order. It was borderline frozen food, almost tasted like the meal I had on my flight here (airplane food). We thought maybe cause it was the end of the night that the chefs just threw it on the plate. But this is no excuse to serve cold, bad, quite literally disgusting food to paying dining customers. Between the terrible experience with servers and the food that barely even rivals McDonald's its hard to understand why anyone would eat here much less reward them with the good reviews they seem to have. Reading some of the other bad reviews they all say the same thing. It was nice of them to comp some of the check (only after asking repeatedly for them to do so and many minutes of complaints) but still we payed a good amount of money was the by worst food we have eaten during our trip to Zurich.

I am sure they will reply to this review with some BS excuse and to tell me to email them for more info which I am sure they will never answer. In fact I see them months ago saying they will fix things that we experienced tonight so clearly they do not care (i.e., misleading/false advertised menu pictures to actual dishes)

Truly save yourself the trip, I will be telling people for years about how bad this place was and will tell my family that lives in Zurich to warn their friends and whomever else...

I have just returned from a meal with my sister and son at Miss Miu. The venue was nice and we were the only people eating inside as it was warm and sunny. I found the ordering quite difficult via the app. It is perfectly fine that we order via the app but no explanation was given.

The food was fine, not excellent but I would say ok for the price.

This however is not where my complaint really lies. Whilst we were sitting eating a Southern Asian group walked in and sat down. At this point the woman from the front welcoming post came in and started berating the family for sitting down without asking her first. The whole experience was embarrassing for them and us as we had to sit and watch this woman patronize and humiliate this group, the only reason I can imagine for this was that at best because they were tourists. I am being generous in suggesting this as I fear there were other motives behind it

At this point I was openly starting at the woman in horror. She saw me doing this and immediately marched over to the woman who had been serving us at the start and started clearly discussing me.

After this I asked our original server for the bill and she said to me it wasn’t up to her to do that and marched off. Eventually an amazingly nice man came and gave us the bill.

As we left I tried to get the attention of whom I presumed to be the manager but in the end left as I had my 5 year old with me. We did however take the time to take the name of the woman who had been so rude to the family!!! But I won’t be so unpleasant as to share this here.

Again I mention that the food was fine, by no means outstanding Korean food but not bad for an early evening snack, but the service was eye wateringly bad, rude and highly unprofessional. Surely this is not so hard...

Quite a disaster. Apart of great atmosphere and very cozy interior it's been very unpleasant visit.

When I came I got seated and offered menu. Until now all good. Next to me was seated another girl about 5min after I've arrived. Waiter took my order (tofu soup, bao buns and just a tap water with ice - they have free tap water but as I didn't know this while it was my first visit I've got charged 7chf for glass of water with ice and slice of lemon). Lady next to me ordered +-3min after me. And here it starts. After 15min I finally received water, after 30min I had no soup, no bao buns and lady next to me was finishing her first course. Waiter was walking around a bit confused with portion of bao buns so I asked him about my food, he handed me the buns without even knowing it was for me as he was offering it to different table right before. Then he rushed to kitchen for a soup that I reminded him of. He brought me the Korean tofu soup - what I actually received was a bowl of spicy water with 1 piece of tofu and 6 cut pieces of cabbage while soup was room temperature. 0/5 for the soup. Bao Buns were on my table already but both were cold and I didn't even finished them because of this. 1/5 for Bao Buns as meat was nicely seasoned. When I mentioned to waiter my experience he said he'll take my bill off but at the end I've paid 28chf for tofu soup without tofu and cold bao buns. Very unpleasant visit which made me upset.

I myself work in hospitality for 10years so I've talked to manager, he was very nice about it and offered compensation during future visit. That's why I'm giving 2/5 stars, 1 star for atmosphere, 1 star for manager approach.

I'm willing to change my review in the future but for now...

Passed by last week and decided to call in. Stylish decor gives good first impression and menu is appealing. Only the brunch menu was available but still some nice-sounding options. Our waiter was welcoming and came quickly to take our drinks and food order. The spritzer drinks were very good - orange and carrot with ginger recommended. We ordered a couple of sharing dishes and each ordered an Egg Bun and were assured they'd all come together. As it happens the French fries with cheese (good!) and a starter arrived together. No problem apart from fries is a weird starter, but then we waited and waited for our mains. Eventually they arrived. Well one did - the chicken. The Egg Bun is a weird dish - a small loaf of a sweet bread with egg in it, soaking in a puddle of cheese sauce. On the side some badly cooked fried chicken. We were told the kitchen had messed the other one up so I ate my meal in front of my date while she watched. When her Egg Bun (consistently weird at least) with salmon turned up, I watched as she ate hers. Not ideal. The team did apologise and offer us a free drink as we'd finished ours while we waited for the main courses. They brought us the drink (we only asked for water!) after we'd finished eating. No one thought to clear our table or ask how the food was. After the meal, the cost of our spritzers was deducted from the bill and, while that is appreciated, I really can't recommend eating here when there are so many good restaurants in the area. It's a shame because the concept has potential, a better focus on customer service and quality over style is needed.

I came here for korean barbecue with my team. I have never been here before because the ratings are low for my taste. I am not a stranger to korean bbq, and was a but disappointed to find four small grills integrated into a hibachi type table. The space is super limited so you cannot have all of your sides, mains and drinks without overcrowding your eating area. As you are also sitting with other groups, it is a bit difficult to hold conversations with your own group. We were told barbecue portions were per two people and you couldn’t order from the normal food menu. If you dont mind sharing utensils, then it is fine, bur if you are a bit cautious after covid, then maybe don’t take this option. We were brought edamame (tasted like they put togarashi on top), and some kind of miso soup with tofu and kimchi inside. We were also beought sides of pickled cucumber, radish, kimchi, and one other (forgot). Afterward, we were brought a bowl of canned bean sprouts, marinated egg plant, king oyster mushrooms, and a various meat plate. The meat consisted of beef, pork belly, and marinated chicken. The sauces were spicy bbq sauce and some other random red sauce with spices. After the staff turned on the grill, he forgot to add oil. After we started grilling for almost 10 minutes, we had to ask the staff for the included rice and salad. Honestly, I did not have high expectations, so I was not as disappointed as I would have been without reading reviews. This isn’t authentic Korean barbecue, but more European style expectations of korean food. I would not come here again.

Nice staff, mediocre food, confusing concept: Don't expect a Korean restaurant, this looks more like the outcome of commercially motivated choices. First off, kudos to the staff for being friendly. This place is decorated with a seemingly wild mix of photography (weirdly enough, of Japanese streets), Korean letters, fake plants, cheesy vintage chandeliers, clumsy monochrome illustrations of 20s bourlesque dancers and trendy nordic furniture — presumably all under the excuse of "fusion", and an attempt at being hip. But the result is a regrettable lack of character and authenticity. While the drinks were enjoyable and pretty, our food was not worth the bill. The "vegetarian noodles" were just meat-less, which basically meant that there was nothing besides sauce and a few flakes (the 'scallions' mentioned in the menu) garnishing the noodles. A dish very similar to a portion of instant noodles, but for tenfold the price. The half cooked vinegar egg was a nice touch though. I don't know the story and motivations behind this restaurant's foundation, and it seems like they try really hard: Unfortunately the end product felt like a shallow and calculated business choice in a new central district, using Korean cuisine as a marketable shell without any heart or real love for it.
