Absolute Gem in Zurich: Bank Delivers Unforgettable Charm!
If you're looking for a dining experience that perfectly blends exquisite international flavors, a breathtaking outdoor ambiance, and service that makes you feel like family, look no further than Bank in Zurich.
This local favorite is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step into Bank's gorgeous outdoor setting, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that's both vibrant and wonderfully relaxed. It's the kind of place where every detail contributes to a perfect evening, making it ideal for a special date or a lively gathering with friends.
The menu, a delightful journey through international cuisine, offers something for everyone, but I can't stop thinking about their Chicken Pita. It was a masterpiece of flavor – perfectly seasoned chicken, fresh, vibrant ingredients, and a texture that just melted in your mouth. Every bite was a testament to the kitchen's skill and dedication.
What truly elevates Bank, however, is the impeccable service, personified by our server, Marco. He didn't just take our order; he made us feel genuinely welcome, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring every aspect of our meal was flawless. His warmth and professionalism are a huge part of what makes dining at Bank such a memorable experience.
Bank isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination.

Read moreThe location and atmosphere is great, but after several visits I have to leave a poor rating due to the service.
On one occasion we sat outside for breakfast and coffee but after our initial drink order no one checked in on us for over 2 hours. We were happy with sitting in the sun and people watching, but we ended up going somewhere else to eat. We would’ve gladly ordered more and spent more had someone bothered to attend to us. It wasn’t particularly busy on this day.
Yesterday evening we had a birthday dinner for my husband with a large group of friends. Overall we were happy with the atmosphere, the flexibility of the menu but felt that the service was pretty unfriendly. I asked them to bring a dessert for my husband with a sparkler and while the waiter who I ordered from was enthusiastic and great, unfortunately the staff member who brought out the mousse very casually delivered it and sort of threw it down in front of my husband. There were no sparklers and it just felt very awkward. I feel the “dessert with sparkler” request is a fairly reasonable expectation from a restaurant on a special occasion but the execution and delivery felt rude, disinterested and was very disappointing.
We had a pleasant time but the general attitude of the service throughout the night unfortunately left an unpleasant and underwhelming impression of the...

I took my family here for a brunch on 5.03.23 at 12am. We were greeted nicely and offered a place to sit outside.
We ordered food and although drinks didn't arrive before our meal everything else was ok, the small and warm pans with nice combination of ingredients were really nice.
But then my wife wanted to check what the bakery next door was offering to find something for our child.
It was our first time at the Bank and we were surprised to learn that although you can access both the bakery and the restaurant from the inside, they are separate companies. Regardless, she bought a Brezel to feed our 1 year old baby.
Immediately after a waiter arrived complaining that what we did was forbidden and that we shouldn't order from the bakery and eat at one of their outside tables.
This could have been true if we hadn't ordered, but we were having a full meal. We didn't use the table just to buy from another shop.
Both myself and my wife have worked for more than 15 years in hospitality and have visited hundreds of places around the world. This must be the most negative impression we ever experienced, and we had many.
We'll go again, we liked the place and the food, but I would recommend training waiters to be more emphatic...
