Should you be in search of a refined and superlative dining experience that blends unparalleled service with delectable cuisine, look no further than "The Bite". This extraordinary culinary establishment represents a hidden gem that far exceeded my initial expectations.

Upon my arrival, I was cordially greeted by the exceptionally courteous staff who immediately made me feel at ease. The service throughout my entire visit was immaculate, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that each and every patron received a memorable and pleasant dining experience.

"The Bite" offers nothing short of exceptional cuisine. The establishment uses only the freshest and highest quality ingredients to craft burgers that are tantalizingly juicy, savory, and unforgettable. Every morsel of each bite was a sumptuous explosion of flavor, which made for a truly memorable culinary journey.

However, the gastronomic pleasures do not terminate with the burgers alone. "The Bite" also presents an array of equally succulent side dishes and appetizers that are expertly prepared with an attention to detail that is second to none. From the impeccably cooked fries to the crisp and flavorful onion rings, the entire menu at "The Bite" is an inspired work of culinary art.

In addition to the exceptional cuisine and service, "The Bite" also features an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. The establishment is meticulously maintained and exquisitely adorned, creating a warm and hospitable ambiance that is sure to delight and impress all who dine there.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend "The Bite" to anyone who seeks a superlative burger experience. With impeccable service, sumptuous cuisine, and an elegant atmosphere, this establishment is nothing short of a must-visit destination. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return and savor the full breadth of their...

I went to this place with two other people, we ordered drinks and nachos as starter, and on this moment the waitress asked if we knew what burgers we wanted. We said we would order later. Then 5 minutes later the same waitress asked if we had decided the burgers, and again we said we would order them later. Another person brought our starter and asked if we were going to order only the starter or if we were going to order burgers. On this moment, we didn’t even have the first bite of our starter. Already feeling uncomfortable, we said, “we will have the starter first”. The same person then immediately said they were very busy, other people wanted tables (I could see 3 other tables free) and suggested that we should order burgers. This person made it very clear we didn’t have a reservation, and we were “very lucky to get a table” that’s why we should order burgers. Well, we were planing too, but since they were pushing us so hard, before we even begin eating our starter, and made it an “obligation”, we gave up. I’ve never experienced something like this before. No matter how simple or fancy the restaurant was, nobody ever approached me suggesting I should order this or that to deserve a table. What if we didn’t like the place? What if we just wanted to eat starters the whole night, or what if we just wanted to have a starter first and then order the main dishes? They were not interested in us as clients, they basically just wanted to know how much we were planning to spend. Until the end, they were trying to convince us they were right. All together, I think we stayed around 30 min there. I will never come back to this place again. We didn’t feel welcomed and comfortable, we were actually planning to order burgers (we said it three time) more drinks etc., but when they suggested we “had to”, we completely lost the appetite, we paid the...

Given the considerable hype on their website and Instagram page, The Bite’s brunch offerings fall significantly short of expectations, especially considering the price point.

The Hungry Man’s Breakfast is particularly underwhelming. The toast provided is thin and insubstantial, resembling supermarket bread from Coop or Migros, while the breakfast sausage appears to be a low-quality bratwurst, simply cut in half (not a breakfast sausage). And tomatoes, don’t ask. At CHF 30, this is far from value for money.

The Avocado Toast is equally disappointing. Served on a flimsy slice of Zopf, it doesn’t bears little resemblance to the appealing images showcased on their social media. Priced at CHF 30 for a single fried egg, it pales in comparison to the high-quality 2 poached eggs served at establishments like Babu’s or Bohemia - roughly the same price.

Adding to the disappointment, we were charged CHF 12 for four glasses of tap water, which feels excessive and unjustified.

However, The Bite does excel in certain areas. Their burgers are consistently high-quality and offer good value for money. If you are considering dining here, I would recommend sticking to their burger menu, where they clearly play to their strengths. Unless significant improvements are made to their brunch offerings, it is not an experience I would readily suggest.

For a total bill of CHF 160 for four people, one cannot help but compare the experience at The Breakfast Club in London or Lou’s, where both quality and value would far surpass what was offered here. That said, The Bite maintains a great atmosphere, with excellent music and...

Overall: The Bite offers a fun atmosphere and delicious, albeit massive, burgers. However, be prepared for a higher price tag compared to other cities. Atmosphere: This cool spot, conveniently close to Zurich's center, offers a trendy vibe that's perfect for a casual meal with friends. Service: The service at The Bite was excellent - quick and friendly. They greeted us with a smile and ensured a smooth dining experience. Food: Burger lovers rejoice! The Bite boasts a great selection of burgers, including a constantly changing chef's special that will tantalize your taste buds. Be warned, these burgers are massive. The aioli sauce was a delicious addition, though the bun did get a bit soggy halfway through due to the burger's size. Drinks: If you're looking for a refreshing drink, try the Clova Cub cocktail. While it was a touch more sour than expected (thanks to the lemon juice!), it was still super fruity and enjoyable. Price: While The Bite might seem expensive compared to other places you've visited, it's actually on the cheaper side for Zurich. However, it's worth noting that, as you've experienced throughout Switzerland, the high price tag doesn't always translate to a proportionally high standard of food. Recommendation: If you're in Zurich and craving a delicious, juicy burger in a cool atmosphere, The Bite is a great option. Just be prepared for a slightly bigger bill than you might expect. BUT still a 5*

I came here with friends after they recommended it to me after hearing about my bad burger experiences. We reserved a table online a few hours before. Service was a bit slow as it looked like they were understaffed. We came with our dog and the waitress filled our dog’s water bowl immediately. The food was good - meat was cooked medium rare and brioche burger buns were perfect. The assembly of the burgers were a bit messy as mine arrived already falling apart with sauce dripping off. I prefer burgers you can eat with your hands instead of fork and knife, so it was a bit difficult to hold together with sauce dripping out everywhere. Not a big fan of too much sauce, but that is my personal preference. The jalapeño cheese fries were more cheese than fries (see picture). All in all, great burgers and nice outdoor area. I would come here again.
