Cinque — Restaurant in Zurich

We arrived without reservation for a graduation celebration dinner. The host found us a table by asking another table of guests that had paid to leave, which we thought was off. The host is loud, hands on when speaking, making my 19 year old niece very uncomfortable from him constantly touching her. We sat down and ordered a round of drinks. Upon his return he wanted us to order mains right away. We ordered a few appetizers, which made the host very angry as he wanted us to order more food, and be quick about it. He started yelling at our table that he didn't sit us here to waste his time. He pointed at his dress shirt to imply he came to work prepared to serve FOOD, and we were wasting his time. I was in disbelief of his behavior. I asked for the bill, he was VERY angry when we paid yelling in front of other patrons. After we paid, we were finishing the drinks we had now paid for and then he came back over and demanded we leave immediately as he had people now waiting for our table. The place has a fun and casual vibe. Their homemade pasta was fantastic, especially the truffle pasta. I won't go back there again because they served us a dessert (dessert of the day) called crema Catalonia which was terrible. Three of us shared two desserts and we each tasted it and it tasted like something was off. We told the waitress and she took it away reluctantly then preceded to argue with us when we asked to have it removed from the bill. The bill came to over $300 USD and the dessert was about $10 usd. There are many good Italian restaurants in Zurich. They need to improve...

We enjoyed a delicious Italian lunch. The interior is such a beautiful place discover. There are a lot of small details and everything aged very well (deco).

The lunch was delicious, we started with a Caprese and I’ve selected the tagliatelle. For the finish, I had the most intensive coffee ever.
