Poor service, unfriendly staff, just ignored me waiting at the bar while they chatted to each other (one of the staff even kept glancing at me). A couple of weeks ago, it took 20 minutes for 3 people to be served.
It's a small, cramped room and is very loud as there is nothing so soak up the noise so it can be difficult to have a conversation.
The drink selection is average at best and the prices are fairly high. A cup of tea came in a cup only just bigger than an espresso cup and cost 4chf - for a cheap teabag and hardly any water.

I've always been impressed with the service though and the bar staff are a good laugh. If you're peckish the Flammkuchen are pretty decent.
Only caveats, for watching sports the bar can be hit or miss! (Scotland Vs England in the 6 nations with no commentary on the speaker just music?! Luckily Scotland won.) and the pub quiz varies in quality...
