We visited Don Leone on a midweek evening with a large group of colleagues. Despite the rainy weather forcing us inside, the restaurant wasn't too crowded that night. The decor is straightforward and unpretentious, allowing the food to be the star. And on that front, Don Leone largely delivered. We overindulged on a variety of dishes, all presented well and of generally good quality. The only misstep were some overcooked steaks, so be sure to specify your desired doneness. What truly shone, however, was the impeccable service. Our large party was tended to attentively from start to finish. Coupled with a reasonable 50 CHF per person cost including plenty of wine, it made for a very satisfying group dining experience overall. To be safe, make sure you make a reservation! It usually gets pretty packed so if you don’t want to wait, just call in advance.
Must try their pizzas! They have a wood fire oven and the crust is oh so delicious. I sometimes ask for olive oil just to dip the crust in some olive oil like bread. (In normal pizza places I don’t eat all the crust but here I do!)

Overall really good option in Zurich! Highly...
