We visited Don Leone on a midweek evening with a large group of colleagues. Despite the rainy weather forcing us inside, the restaurant wasn't too crowded that night. The decor is straightforward and unpretentious, allowing the food to be the star. And on that front, Don Leone largely delivered. We overindulged on a variety of dishes, all presented well and of generally good quality. The only misstep were some overcooked steaks, so be sure to specify your desired doneness. What truly shone, however, was the impeccable service. Our large party was tended to attentively from start to finish. Coupled with a reasonable 50 CHF per person cost including plenty of wine, it made for a very satisfying group dining experience overall. While Don Leone may not wow with fancy decor, it seems to prioritize executing reliable Italian staples backed by hospitality that caters equally well to both large parties and intimate dates. A solid option when craving well-prepared classics in a comfortable, unfussy setting.

I went twice during the week while I was staying at nearby Sihlcity. The Chopfab Weißbier was very good, so I stayed with it for both meals. The Caprese was perfect, with top- quality Mozzarella, tomatoes, olive oil and balsamico. One night's Paccheri with white truffles was excellent, and the other evening I hd linguine with shrimps, also very good. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, most locals - couples, frinds meeting up and the like, no loud business types. The friends I took there really liked it, too.

Admittedly, I might be addicted. I've been eating across the menu - aperitivi, insalatone, pizze, primi piatti, and vino. I've eaten in and done takeaway, but sitting in the restaurant is delightful as the smell of truffle and sauces and the pizza oven are mouthwatering. The service is very good, but they can be busy, so I recommend savoring the experience. I haven't had dessert yet, but I saw the homemade tiramisu and I won't be able to resist it for long.

I Upon stepping into this esteemed establishment, one is immediately enveloped by an atmosphere of unparalleled warmth and hospitality. The personnel overseeing operations exhibit consummate professionalism, coupled with an unwavering commitment to service excellence. As a connoisseur of fine cuisine, I must confess that my experience here transcended all expectations, leaving me at a loss for words save for one: PERFECTION. Every aspect, from the delicate nuances of flavor to the meticulous presentation, left an indelible impression on my discerning palate. Without reservation, I wholeheartedly endorse this delightful establishment to all seekers of gastronomic delight, where exquisitely crafted dishes are complemented by an ambiance of genuine conviviality. Upon my next sojourn to Zurich, it is with great anticipation that I shall make this esteemed establishment my gastronomic destination of choice for both luncheon and supper engagements. Thank you to all your...

Our go to spot for Sunday night meals! One of the few good restaurants open on sundays.

To be safe, make sure you make a reservation! It usually gets pretty packed so if you don’t want to wait, just call in advance.

Must try their pizzas! They have a wood fire oven and the crust is oh so delicious. I sometimes ask for olive oil just to dip the crust in some olive oil like bread. (In normal pizza places I don’t eat all the crust but here I do!)

The pasta is also just as good. We had the mushroom pasta with black truffle and gobbled it up really quickly between the two of us. The pasta was al dente which is how I like it. But it’s not super consistent. Another time we had the carbonara and it wasn’t super al dente.

Overall really good option in Zurich! Highly...
