The pizza was delicious, the young lady who greeted us was so kind, and the large gentleman who was helping was extremely friendly. We don't speak German, French, or Italian, so we made sure they were okay with us speaking/interacting in English before we were seated, and they even offered to translate the menu for us. Somehow this offended our server despite him initially saying he was fine speaking English with us. We were seated, and from then on, he treated us with disdain and outright contempt. The young girl came over several times to make sure we were comfortable and to see if we needed anything, but he completely ignored us. When the food came out (which was surprisingly fast), he dropped the plates on our table with more force than necessary and left without saying anything. We finished our meal and waited and waited. We spoke with two other employees and asked if we could pay, they relayed our readiness to the server in sight of us and each time he walked away to do some mundane task. He purposefully held us prisoner for more than 35 minutes and when I asked a manager if we could pay, the server then yelled at me. He was perhaps the rudest person I have met in several years, full of unwarranted self-importance, and treated his customers with contempt that was unwarranted.
Though the food and the rest of the staff were wonderful, his treatment made sure I would never return to that restaurant, and would recommend others avoid...

The take away service was terrible during our wait. While I was away from the outdoor table we were waiting at, a waitress questioned why my girlfriend was sitting in the restaurant premises. Once we received our orders, pizza and pasta, there was only one fork. No napkins, no knives, or an additional fork were provided.
Subpar service is one thing, but a restaurant that proclaims to be Italian and delivers such inferior food is blasphemous. The pizza was mundane and forgettable, but the pasta left us aghast. It looked like it came from either a microwavable frozen meal or a gas station in New Jersey. The only thing worse than the appearance of the undercooked pasta was the taste! Regardless of the small amount of cheese and meat discovered amongst the noodles, there was absolutely no flavor. Neither of us could stomach the meals and chose not to finish them.
It seems that Arcade is one of many restaurants that sneaks by with below standard service because it survives off of people from the surrounding offices coming to eat for lunch. The lack of care and concern for both customer and cuisine is concerning.
Unless this restaurant changes both the conduct of their team and improves the quality of food, I will not be coming here again (especially given the number of great...
