Kornsilo — Restaurant in Zurich

Maybe it’s not my tribe - in spite of the prices being on the higher bans, they do not include a pleasant address from the cashier or the team in general - “ Hoi, hesch no en Wünsch?“- with a tone of “you’re-bothering-hurry-up-and-get-out”, is only complemented by paying 1.- for a glass of tap water when ordering a coffee and a slice of cake.

My feeling?

It’s selling the industrial retro look of the place for a price neither the service or ambiance or place provides.

You can get all that’s missing at the “Fr. Gerold’s Garten”, not far off, and let the place here serve the customers that...

Very nice bar & restaurant located in the Muhle Tiefenbrunnen. The place is modern, stilish and spacious. I often work here (as a digital nomad 🤣) and I find it comfortable for remote working. Families with children come here for brunch on weekends, while during the week it is good for work lunch break The staff is nice and food is good. I have given 4 stars out of 5 because sometimes the place is booked for private events and I could not stay there to work, which was a bit problematic for me sometimes. Nice place for breakfast!

This is a very nice and cozy place to take breakfast, in the close proximity of the Tiefenbrunnen train station. I visited this place a few times and each time I had a good experience.

The interior of the place is very nice and it looks very well refurbished out of an old corn mill. The service is very good, although sometimes it can feel a little slow.
