Okay Italia — Restaurant in Zurich

Staying at the Zurich Development Center for work, I decided to explore the neighborhood and find a local spot for dinner. Okay Italia came up as one of the nearby options—about a 1km walk away—so I took the opportunity for a pleasant evening stroll.

The restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating, and I opted for a cozy corner inside to quietly observe the atmosphere.

I started with the Caprese salad, which immediately impressed me—fresh, vibrant, and generously portioned. Easily shareable. For the main course, I chose the lasagna, served bubbling hot in a small oven skillet. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was rich and flavorful—a true comfort dish.

To finish off the meal, I had a single scoop of chocolate gelato. Simple, smooth, and just the right note to end on.

The ambiance reminded me of a warm Sunday dinner with family. At one point, a man came in with his young grandson, beaming with pride as he showed him how to make pizza.
