My friends and I decided to try out this place, despite being initially disappointed by the 1-hour and 30-minute table limit. We were eager to experience what the restaurant had to offer, looking forward to a pleasant evening out.

The evening started well with us ordering drinks, starters, and mains. However, our experience took a turn due to the overly attentive service. Throughout the last 45 minutes of our stay, we were interrupted six times by the server, insisting on refilling our glasses, despite our clear disinterest. This constant interruption was not only unnecessary but also detracted from our overall dining experience. It felt as though the establishment was pushing us to spend more, despite our already substantial bill of $110 in just an hour and a half. It's important for a restaurant to recognize when to offer services and when to allow guests to enjoy their meal in peace. Being treated as though we were nothing more than a source of income is unacceptable.

In conclusion, while we were initially excited to dine here, the excessive interruptions by the server marred our experience. A balance needs to be struck between attentive service and respecting the dining space of customers, especially when the time at the table is already limited. Having enjoyed many meals at Brisket over the past few years, we learned of their sister restaurant, Yardbird. We're glad that we tried it out, it was worth the 2.7 km walk. We were met at the door like we were old friends. It was like we were local, neighborhood regulars. Welcome! The DJ spinning vinyl was a great vibe addition, and he was enjoying his gig. Yet, the volume wasn't obtrusive, and the lighting was at a perfect level. We kept it simple, with the half bird, no sauce- just to try out the basic chicken. As the saying goes- crispy on the outside juicy and tender in the inside-delicious. We left clean bones. The French fries were done perfectly, the leaf salad was a nice, fluffy butter lettuce. The extra cole slaw, was plentiful, and wonderful- tangy with a hint of sweet,( and a flavor of horseradish, I'm pretty sure.) Our next visit will include the sauced chicken- Nashville Hot, most likely. We're both originally from Tennessee. Bottom line- go enjoy a nice, comfort food meal...
