One star, because it’s the minimum allowed. I went there with my wife and two daughters. We were told that children cannot stay if they don’t order coffee – which makes absolutely no sense, either for business or for tourism. The place was empty, not crowded, no one waiting outside… so I really don’t understand what the waitresses were thinking. Very disappointing experience.

Dark roast iced americano was delicious, especially in this sweltering heat! Hinoki Village feels pretty touristy but the houses are beautiful and this cafe is tucked within one of these houses. Good vibes inside the cafe, they offer freshly made bread, sourdough, beer and coffee.

A real gem in Hinoki village. Lovely staff, smiley and welcoming. Delicious food, try their sausage sandwich (hotdog). Also a range of tasty pastries, and very affordable as well! Tried a matcha latte and it was on point. Both great for eating in and take away.

Tasty coffee and good looking place, but 1 drink per person policy. Makes sense if it’s busy, but it’s middle of the day on a weekday and the cafe is half empty. Can’t sit with my friend for 10 mins to drink some coffee, a little bit more leniency would be appreciated especially when it’s not...
