Update: Despite the product being good, the pushy, almost forceful sales method feels manipulative. Seeing that this is how the boss treats every customer completely changed my mind about this place. No longer recommended.

The ice cream (sherbet? There’s actually no milk cream in any of the flavors) taste and quality is excellent: -cold-drip coffee is a bit bitter as coffee should be -the grass jelly flavor tastes just like the actual thing -taro is full of taro pieces with just the right amount of sweetness -mango tastes like the fruit without a ton of added sugar -the alcohol kinds are all strong, with distinct flavors, just as if you were drinking shots of each

The boss is wonderfully enthusiastic—and exhausting if you just want to quickly order without trying every flavor. A firm “no, really, no” does work though....

The owner seemed friendly at first and asked us which flavors we want to try. As we started to try I started to notice he was selling us hard on the ice cream. Usually you ask to only try the flavors you might want to get. But he went through all the flavors. Then he tried to sell us on his VIP program, tried to show us all the customers in his database. We only wanted two single scoops which was quite expensive in my opinion. Then he tried to sell his VIP program again. My wife said she wanted to eat something else and that we get one scoop. He pointed to his sign and said if he goes through the tasting you have to buy an ice cream. Very sneaky and misleading. I really really do not recommend this place. Very poor customer service. Don’t come...

My favorite ‘Taiwanese Ice Cream’ shop so far in Taipei. This place is dairy free, as that is what defines Taiwanese ice cream. Speaking only on the fruit flavors, they use the best quality Taiwanese fruit in their sorbet and you can absolutely taste the quality. Most of the flavors are no sugar added, which is a huge plus for me. The owners are very friendly and rightfully proud of their product. They let you taste all the flavors and also speak English so make it easier for travelers. I got my membership after my first visit and it’s totally worth it. The flavors change very often, so there are almost always new...
