Mövenpick Café — Restaurant in Da'an District

I recently visited MingYao BaiHuo for some shopping, and decided to have some afternoon tea and desserts when i found Mövenpick MingYao. It was first because of the cafe looks really cozy, but it turns out to be true! At first i was a bit worry about how i'm going to order foods since i'm a foreigner that can't speak chinese well, then one of them went to ask another waiters who can speak better english to explain me the menus. They all seems to have so much patient, always with a smily face, helping me. The waiters was all friendly and attentive, always make sure to fulfill my needs.

I ordered a cup of coffee and a fruit waffle. It was a bit pricey for me, but turns out it was not dissapointing at all! The fresh brewed coffee with a warm baked waffle really brighten my afternoon. Everything fit my expectations!

Later to found that they have service fee, but the waiters' service here really make me willing to pay!! Overall it was really a wonderful experience at Mövenpick MingYao, especially to anyone who's looking for a delightful spot to relax and enjoy great food. It's going to be my most go-to cafe when i go shopping...

The restaurant is considered spacious especially for one that is located in the department store. The menu is also quite complete, with major focus on desserts and ice cream variety. The staff is where major improvements is required! No smile, rude, unprofessional. The cutlery basket comes with just one spoon even when we ordered two risotto diahes, and it takes more than three service rings to ask for a second one. One of the waiters is super unfriendly, and emphasised that the seating time limit is two hours even when the restaurant is...
