IG: foodie_foxx It may look like a Taiwanese restaurant, but a authentic Japanese restaurant with all the same techniques used, an old shop, running successfully for almost more than 10 years. A big iron plate (iron pan) is placed on every table, so be careful with that, u may burn ur hand. Comes with a decent menu, not much, so less confusing which to order, they have their specialities marked with numbers. The waiters go alone to every table to cook the food. The dish consists of cabbage, corn, Wasabi, mayo, and the meat you order We ordered the- 蕃茄海鮮起司文字燒, - 340$ NTD 明太子海鮮年糕起司文字燒(花枝,蝦仁,干月)- 360$ntd. Instead of sea food we took beef. The cooking preparation is about 10 mins for a simple dish and for a rice cake it takes around 15-20mins, the waitress who attended us was so cute, she drew a heart shape cake and was so polite to us. I had the pleasure of tasting honey green tea, which was really refreshing, as honey and green tea leaves has a great flavor and a sumptuous finish to every bite of the meal. Taste- best Japanese food ever had. Price- decent pricing Ambience- old and authentic Parking- not available, can choose the common stands. Service - excellent, just u have to wait for tables as it always full during the peak lunch hours, our next visit would surely be after 14.30 as the crowd reduces and easy to get tables.
If you don't want the full meals, u can still order for the meat. For heavy eating people, it think one rice cake would not be enough, I had to order beef separate which was also good, because it's was caramelized onions and beef roast. Recommend to all kinds of customers, exclusively to people who loves Japanese cuisine.
Bon appetite...
Read moreLearned the hard way, if you have a reservation for 7pm, that means you have to be there right at 7. Show up at 7:05 on a rainy day? No luck. The person who we spoke to was incredibly rude, and did not even pretend to feel bad. Literally we were on the phone with them and standing in the doorway at 7:05.
I understand that it’s an inconvenience for the restaurant if customers are a few minutes late, but really.. the attitude… what some of the other reviews here have said about poor service attitude is completely true.
So, moral of the story, be exactly on time, not a single minute late. According to them, it’s your fault for being even a single minute late (or god forbid 5).
There are definitely other options for okonomiyaki out there. I’m sure they’ll be nicer and more forgiving...

Reserved a table for 2 at 12:30. 12:30 on the dot, one was standing at door, another was literally 100m away waving at them but we were asked to que up again, which is ridiculous. In the end the staff was being "generous" to let us in but not after giving us a lecture, saying we were a minute late and they don't accept even 1 minute late but we waited more than 10 minutes for them to set up the table and take our order.
Food was ok but there are plenty places are better than this. Restaurant itself was small, greasy and smelly.
Honestly, don't bother to come in, as there are many other...
