Incredible value at this eatery! There are plenty of choices between cooked dishes, bento boxes, and fried stuff, but most people come here for the hot pot. For less than 200NT you get personal hotpot chock full of yummy vegetarian ingredients and one carb (rice or noodle). Several soup bases to choose from, including mala, tomato, milk, tomyum, and Sichuan sour vegetable. You can also order extra ingredients to add to your hotpot or some fried stuff to enjoy as side dishes. A very satisfying meal.

Read moreThis is a very popular vegetarian hotpot spot. The food is actually quite good, but I don’t think it’s worth waiting an hour for. If you really want to give it a try, I recommend visiting right when they open or arriving 5–10 minutes early to avoid the long wait.
The atmosphere can be a bit chaotic—during my 1.5-hour dinner, I witnessed at least three dramatic incidents. Some customers were quite aggressive, making for an unexpectedly entertaining experience.
