Truffle Fries ($228): They’re quite fresh, crispy, and seasoned with lots of parmesan cheese and dipping them into the truffle mayo sauce is amazing.
Strawberry & Lychee Soda ($148): There are some syrups precipitate on the bottom and it is one of the greatest mixed juice I’ve ever tasted after stirring. It is very rich in sweetness, syrupy, a little tarted, and fizzy.
Chocolate Cake ($158): The cake was served before the fries since it’s a cafe restaurant, and it is meant to be similar to Ferrero Rocher according to its Chinese name. There are some nuts, icy cream, chocolate layer, and a thinner chocolate layer on the top. It is so delicious that you can actually receive the flavour of Ferrero Rocher.
In conclusion, it takes me several minutes to walk from MRT Zhongshan station exit 4 and there are both seats upstairs and downstairs. The decor of the restaurant is quite natural with shades of green, black, and white. The prices are above average but the tastiness, service, speed and quality are all excellent. Overall, it’s a 10 out of 10!
FYI, meal time is 90 minutes, the minimum charge is a beverage, payment cash only after the meal, and the 10% service surcharge is included...
Read moreThis was the first bad experience we had from Taiwan service industry. 🥲 Context: we were a group of 3 tourists who haven’t had lunch and it was already 3pm. We weren’t very interested in the cuisine they offered but we were hungry so we ordered 2 types of pizzas.
Basically, I felt disrespected because the server took my plate away while I was clearly mid-bite of a pizza slice! I gave my friend a look, then the server put my plate back down just to put my used napkins on it and take it away again as she cleared our whole table. It was extremely rude. We literally just received our food about 15 minutes before she did this. They also did things that showed they wanted us out of there asap like giving us our bill even before the food arrived and turning down the ac unit which was next to us. They were also not friendly at all. Other notes: pizzas were both bland. They were like homemade personal plate type of bread w cheese and tomato which is fine but there’s nothing exciting about it. It was weird that they put cucumbers in both pizzas… are these even pizzas? We also ordered tea which tasted forgettable. I don’t think they are tourist friendly. They also...

This is my second time here, sitting upstairs for the first time. I tried looking for cafes around here but ended up here again after I long journey. I think this will probably be my go-to now. After walking around for like an hour the AC hits so good 😩
I’m here for looking for the place to work, since it’s been raining a lot in Taipei. And I think this place is perfect. They have signs saying that dining limit is 90min if the place is packed, but they didn’t kick me out after staying for 3 hours, so I thought that was great.
Food wise the pizza was aight, tbh would come here for food, and I wasn’t that hungry so I just took it home. Dessert was yummy, but the tiramisu and the lemon pie I got, only wish the slices were bigger.
Staff ordered my food and stood politely by the counter, and would respond when you ask, otherwise they don’t come around a lot. I think that’s perfect for the cafe so I don’t need to interact with people when it’s...
