Zhongshan Metro Mall — Local services in Taipei

Nice little underground gem. Stopped by quite a while back, but I passed by quite a few times during my short visit. There are nice, new areas that've been remodeled with seating & WiFi, but most of the strip is moderately aged, like a cheap strip mall. I wouldn't go out of the way to visit this place, but it makes for a nice little adventure if u don't want to see the same above street view when passing by. Very interesting underground shopping street. Other than a usual Xi men ding 西门町，this is a place I will be highly recommended for tourists to visit if you are in Taipei. An important note is to make sure you walk out or exit the underground shopping street to discover more surprises around this area. There are plenty of small shops compared with Yong Kang Street. We like to visit places love by local rather than just a touristy spot. Plan your visit timing around late afternoon till night time, so you are able to experience different vibe...

A very large under ground mall. You could walk north in the mall all the way to the Shuanglian metro station south and connect to the Q-Square Mall.

Lots of small shops ranging from pretty much anything you could think of buying. Fun to explore and very convenient if you just get off the red line at Zhongshan and pick a direction to start!
