Jia Xing Fish Ball Restaurant — Restaurant in Datong District

The locals recommended me as this is one of the famous foods in Taipei. They are famous for their fuzhou fish ball.

I went there on weekdays at lunch hour, it wasn't so packed so I didn't queue long for the food. But I saw some TV company are taking videos there so I guess it is a thing.

Order: go straight to the reception at the door and grab a paper and a pen. Choose a seat and fill in the paper. Gave back the paper and the pen to the reception and pay the bill.

Delicious fish balls. You can taste the care they take in the ingredients and process in making them. Really soft casing with juicy tasty filling. Soup that goes with it is just right. Light.
