2022.11.14 Price: $85 for the wide noodle bǎng tiáo I ordered. Inexpensive compared to the other restaurants nearby with the similar quality.
Environment: sterilize and clean the dining tables right after customers left. Not sticky. ( many food stands are sticky) There’s even a faucet for customers to wash hands after enjoying the meal. Really considerate.
Scale: The soup bowl wasn’t big but deep so I was still feeling stuffed.
Service: What surprised me was that one table for one group of customers, no mixture. Even though I went there alone, I still didn’t need to sit with other strangers. Really sweet and touching for introverts :)
Features: The soup bowl is a traditional designed bowl so you can find blue paintings on it. The meatballs and Ròu Gēn have fillings inside! Which were tasty and chewy.

Read moreWe came to this area to buy something and since it was lunchtime, we decided to just eat here. The restaurants in the area didn’t look that good to me, but then we passed this place and saw a lot of people eating there. They sell just one thing, which is the squid and fish ball stuffed with pork soup. You can also add noodles and there are a few types of noodles to choose from. They also have rice that has a pork belly fried onion sauce on top. I loved the squid, but was also surprised by how good the fish balls were. The rice was also good. The servings are not huge so getting one bowl of soup with a small bowl of rice is perfect. We also got a small side of vegetables and the winter melon tea (my favorite drink). Highly recommend this place for a quick, delicious...

I liked the food here. The rice with fried garlic toppings (N.B. It's a misnomer. It is actually fried shallot with lard) is the bomb. I could eat that alone, but of course, I was greedy, and I ordered side dishes. The squid soup is savoury, with the soup slightly starched. We spent 265NTD for our meal (see photo). English menu...
