shooting the breeze (you speak English, right ? -- sensed something was off -- i smell the blood of an american man) in the modern (& sometimes mistaken for Korean) aesthetic of this since-March opened post- science Everyman's Endeavor to run his own coffee shop ☕ & reinact the plotline from a k-drama in which love (romantic) follows passion

(so Korean/modern Asian aesthetic that quite a few have requested to do photoshoots there)

so it's a pretty place how's the food ? & more importantly -- how's the købee ? (i was sure this was Norwegian for coffee ☕ but it's not)

across the way is a Michelin something not rated guide cause price point too low but still recognized for excellence rice 🍚 & something shop whose food should be preserved & served surely however couldn't we still tear it down turn it into a square rimmed with stands -- give young folk a spot to try & she can still have some real estate but really how much kitchen could she need to make a couple of dishes

a row of town houses -- ground floor no shops

still 2 vacant biz spots in the building of Købee

across the main thoroughfare a new building going up & some longer-term care facility which oughta go too

ain't no room for that in the New New

i'm just saying : hipsters & tech nomads gotta live & coffee & craft beer & pizza somewhere too

Mike gets his desserts from Tamsui & Yilan -- yes driving to Yilan to pick up from the private kitchen of some hotshot multidisciplinary pastry chef to give you his creations in Datong

didn't get a chance to but will certainly try sweets from afar & savoury to feed a Wonder Woman

& do look for short form k-drama-esque content coming out of Købee cause the decor is just dying for it

I have tasted coffee at quite a few places and can safely say that places offering quality blends are few and far between. I was impressed by the quality of Americano I ordered. not too heavy and quite smooth. The aroma was a testament to the quality of beans used. Complimented with the excellent carrot cake, my evening coffee turned out to be a pleasant experience in the heart of Taipei. The owner is discreetly observant and so very helpful. The staff are polite and friendly. Adding to it the minimalist but eclectic décor , I give this place a solid five stars. Must visit for coffee...

Super easy to get to from the MRT station. Exit 1A. The cafe is very photogenic, and everything is set up for lovely hangout time with friends or even for working space. You will feel very relaxed there and can see many fashionable people walking in and out.
