I reserved the seat through their Facebook page. They are friendly for English speakers. The portion for main dishes quite big with a decent prices-you can taste fresh and good quality ingredients. I’ve just tried their sea bass fish salad, it’s taste really nice and makes you full-full. Their Poffertjes (the mini pancakes) has many flavors to choose. But someday the options might sold out since afternoon.
I had Salty Butter with Maple Glazed Walnut. Not too sweet with the salty taste, the dish really creates contrasted taste and texture.
I also tried strawberry one, of course it suits for strawberry lover.
Tiramisu flavored is interesting as well, it’s less sweet than the previous flavours for sure, the pancake absorb coffee very well.
The lemon cream is really refreshing, you would finished it with in no time.
Poffertjes comes with good portion. Pair up with a drink and I think it's perfect portion for one or two. Especially with hot drink it's really go well together in the winter time. My friend had Matcha and it served with cute Shiba latte art ♡. Love the atmosphere that feel like friend's home. Very cozy and comfortable to come with a group as well.
After these long years, I keep coming back, bringing many friends there both local and foreigners, they all are impressed, especially the poffertjes. I haven’t tried all the flavours yet but I...
Read moreTucked in a small side street very near Taipei Station, this cafe was exactly what we needed after days of eating Taiwanese cuisine. We wanted the familiar taste of eggs and toast, and they delivered in spades. The menu had all the items in English, and the server was very helpful. We had two of the all day brunch meals, the Beef Short Ribs and the Tomato and Basil Scrambled Eggs. The Beef was a fatty but very tender cut, cooked to medium doneness and quite delicious. One could choose if the eggs came sunny side up or hard boiled. The scrambled eggs were wonderfully subtle in flavour, made even more fresh by the tomatoes and basil. I chose potterjes for my side, which are small pancakes served with butter and maple syrup. These were delightful and I'd recommend them over bread! Given each brunch dish came with eggs, roasted pumpkin and potatoes, bread or poffertjes, a small salad, and coffee or tea, we were very pleased with the value. With simple decor, a welcoming atmosphere, and comfortable seating, we stayed a few moments more after finishing our food just to chat over our tea and coffee. I would definitely visit everytime we need a little...
Read moreI went here on July 4th, 2024. My sister and I both ordered savory dishes which arrived fairly quickly, but brought out one by one. The other half of my family ordered the pofferjies, the mini pancakes. After waiting over an hour and asking three times, they still had not delivered their food, saying "it's cooking right now". Multiple other customers had been seated, given their orders, and left at this point. When we went up to finally leave, they spoke English with us (even though they had only spoke Mandarin with us until then). First they told us what dishes we should have ordered instead. They then tried to give us one of the missing dishes, saying it had been ready for a while. Another of the dishes had not even been made. I don't know why they treated my family like this, as everyone else around us seemed to have normal customer service. Maybe it was because we didn't speak much Mandarin and obviously didn't look...
