What can I say? As a meatguy, I was attracted by the name when I searched Google maps for a place to eat. It took me a few times around the block, before I noticed the narrow street and tiny restaurant. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but what a lovely surprise! The food is amazing! I ordered pork, rice and fried onions and wow, wow and wow. It's somewhat western, and although I prefer to eat local food, they completely convinced me. This is a must-visit hole-in-the-wall restaurant if you are visiting Kending. Their menu is very simple, but the food is awesome. For those who are used to American portions, this might seem like a small bowl, but it is actually quite filling. It is really hard to find, because google map will drive you into a wall finding this place. You need to find a little alley near where the google navigation takes you, and venture in. This a great little restaurant tucked away in an alley. The owner and cook is a very cool guy and speaks great english. The food is simple and delicious. I had the chicken with rice with potato wedges. The vibe is great being in the heart of Hengchun with the music playing while eating great food.
