An amazing snow ice place located in the middle of Hengchun. My wife and I were visiting the Kenting area and decided to check out the walled city of Hengchun. After wandering out in the heat and humidity, we decided to get some Taiwanese ice (snow ice). I don't know if it was because we were hot, tired, and dehydrated, but we both thought the ice at this place was absolutely amazing. I'd probably give it a tie for the best ice that I had in Taiwan (from about 7 or so places, mainly in Taipei).
The place is a small stall which has a counter displaying the ice and fruit along with a small shaded seating area. I got a mango ice (which was heavily advertised) while my wife got the passion fruit ice. The portions were large and very delicious.
I'd definitely recommend this random side of the street, hole-in-the-wall restaurant for the delicious Taiwanese dessert, especially on a hot afternoon. When will the US get...

neither product really wowed. peanut snowflake ice was decent in taste and texture although it lacked intensity and richness, which is usually the caused by not using enough peanuts. 3/5
