Pizza for Peace — Restaurant in Hengchun

I messed up my previous review and slammed it on the B&B which in the same venue. Here's my take on PfP: I'll be damned if it isn't the best pizza and pasta place in Taiwan!! The chef takes good care on picking the best ingredients. Once the master hit the stoves, a beautiful fragrance took over the entire establishment, giving off an obvious hint what's about to come. If I only would've known about their accomodation before arrival, I wouldn't think twice. They have the best vibes of all the places I've visited so far on this beautiful island and I am very much looking forward to visiting again.

Proscuitto & rucola pizza was just sublime. Looking forward to the iberian ham one tomorrow!

Fresh dough, legit selection of toppings. Alas 2/3 pizzas were too bitter as overdone. Kids wouldn’t eat it. Shame. Could be more generous with the herbs, 4 basil leaves on one pizza doesn’t really count. Boddingtons in the fridge was great and the kids enjoyed ice-cream floats (don’t put ice cubes in them, it ruins them!) And the service time was on the relaxed side. But that’s fine! The freshly baked pizza is just amazing. Definitely one of the best I’ve ever had! There are only 3 pizza options (All in one, Vegetarian, and Margherita), and the owner can only make one pizza at a time, but the pizzas are 100% worth the wait! 👍 The restaurant is located inside Chillax Inn (鬆塊民宿) and a bit outside downtown Hengchun. So it will be easier to get there by a scooter!
