Eating hot pot in summer is absolutely amazing! I recently tried the pepper pig stomach chicken hot pot for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were enveloped by a rich aroma, and the warm atmosphere was complemented by the friendly and enthusiastic staff and owner. After being seated, the staff kindly explained the soup base and the various ingredients. We chose the signature soup base, and before adding any ingredients, we tasted the broth—its rich flavor was truly impressive, leaving us eager for more.
The soup base itself already included pig stomach and chicken, and as the pot simmered, the flavors became more intense and satisfying. When we added vegetables and mushrooms, the broth gained a subtle sweetness, further enhancing its complexity. The ingredients were so fresh that they didn’t need any additional sauce to taste great. However, we did try some fermented tofu sauce, which surprisingly paired well with the rich broth. It’s a great option if you feel like adding a little twist to the flavor after a while.
The freshness of the ingredients, especially the shrimp, was particularly memorable—each bite was incredibly sweet and tender.
