鴨角活海產 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Seafood is a must eat while at Cijin Island. Was greeted at the door where the doorman gave us our table and order number and was directed to the left where we get to choose the seafood we wanted for dinner (there are many choice such as crab, prawn, fish, squid, clams etc).

Food is very fresh and crab is my favourite. I remember i choose steamed crab but it came lightly grilled. This cooking style was recommended when we order because we can taste the original taste of the crab, which we really did.

TLDR; unfriendly staff & poor service

We came to the restaurant to eat dinner and we went to the front to order some seafood. Coming from a different country, I am not familiar with the restaurant’s menu and had some questions about the dishes. The restaurant staff that greeted me was rude and responded to me with “do you even know how to read a menu?” after I had inquired about the mussels dish. Super crowded on a weekend. Fortunately we had a local friend whom made a reservation prior.

Seafood doesn't get any fresher than this. Pick what you like at the door and decide how you wil like it done. Everything came out from the kitchen to the table simple and wonderfully done. Sweet seafood. Fresh crunchy greens.
