My friend suggested that we go to this place. After he placed the order for our ice cream, a guy came in the front door carrying a box, hurried behind the counter, took a pen and started writing on a pad something that had to do with the people who waited in line behind us. My first thought was that we just saw him come from outside and carrying a bow under his arm. He didn't wash his hands before touching his pen and engaging with the food items until I think he heard me say it in Chinese to my friend. I did it loud enough in hopes that he heard me say it and that he'd go wash his hands. So he did,but not wash them. He went and wet them under the faucet for a second, no soup was used and he he really didn't wash them as we could see from our view behind the counter. Then he came to put our order together. I didn't want him to as he didn't wash his hands properly. He pilled our order together with pistachio on the the bottom, vanilla on top and then an I requested mango scoop on top. The order was supposed to be a single pistachio, and a single vanilla. He explained about my friend ordering and how it would cost more for single scoops. I was okay with that, and I can't confirm my friend's ordering. But I explained that I would pay for it to be separated, if it wasn't as you should be careful mixing flavors as someone might be allergic to nuts, but fruits or other ingredients. You can't just stack flavors at will without considering the costumer's consideration. So he separated the flavors. I was still disgusted by the lack of hygienic practices when it comes to washing hands and dealing with multiple elements in a food and beverage industry. Please wash your hands so you can't contaminate and transfer...

We ordered Hazelnut Milk & Caramel Latte, both drinks were so good but we’re suprised with the Hojicha Cheesecake, it was soo delicious and affordable. I’d love to visit again when I go...
Read moreA block away from Fort Sto. Domingo, this cafe gives you good coffee (and cake!) with a view. Tamsui is quite far from Ximending area so it's quiet with a few tourists around. The cafe seems like a co-working space for locals. We came here for the coffee but were wow-ed by the cake! Overall, good place to...
