Personally trying it for the first time and is unsurprising that the locals love it. The rice vermicelli mixes really well with the sauces and the tofu - really flavourful. The soya milk is nice as well not too sweet. As for the fishball soup, the fishballs are really nice and could tell they are handmade. But the soup itself is pretty bland; they definitely could improve on that. Lastly, the attitude of the stall owners are pretty poor too - seems to be impatient with the customers. Read moreFinally found a good Agei place in Taipei! It’s actually in Tamsui, New Taipei City. It bit further away from Taipei district, but it was worth traveling here for their food. I personally think their taste is better than most other places I’ve tried. The vermicelli wrapped inside the tofu and fish cake is good and not soggy at all. Goes really well with the hot sauce they put on top if it. Tamsui is also known for their fish balls so of course had to get a bowl of their fish ball soup.
