A humble little store hidden in a valley before Shilin night market. Both the bosses are extremely friendly, which is a virtue that I find missing in this trip traveling with a 2-year-old. They even dragged out a baby chair for us. Love the variety of Taiwanese traditional foods they offered. Beside the mains, we managed to try out the Taiwan gyoza , meat dumplings and rice cake in one go. Not to mentioned the affordability, 5 types of dishes cost only Twd 320. Will revisit next time if...

I only ordered a Hakka-style dried rice noodles and a braised egg. The egg was delicious and so were the rice noodles with great texture. The juicy minced pork went really well with the rice noodles. Overall, price was so cheap that it cost only $50 in total and the service and the foods were excellent, it’s a 9.5 out of 10! FYI, you pay at the beginning and get your chopsticks or spoons from the tableware...

Pretty good for local food. I mainly tried their soups and those were good.

Service moved fairly quick and it was man and his wife operating it.

Lots of cards on the walls.

Food was pretty good overall. No complaints. It's not the most clean tables or clean chairs. So a bit dirty and disorganized. Okay if everyone is...
