Chia Wia Sina — Restaurant in Taichung

This is definitely the BEST ⭐️ among the many that I have eaten. It supersedes the many hyped well- known brands. Good level of buttery taste and smell, so fresh too! The shop is manned by owners themselves. Very friendly & generous. Gave us each a whole unopened piece to try, but we just shared in order not to fill up our stomach too much. It is quite big a piece. All of us find it so nice! They even asked us our return home date and helped to calculate and advise within how many days we should consume before and after freezing it. On top of that they also told us to inform friends we are gifting to, if we give out after freezing it. So kind!

The flat almond cookie is also very nice. Wish there is a shop in Taipei as most people will leave the country from Taipei.

Excellent service family-run business. On entrance, we were given a few sun cakes to test try. The sun cakes were thicker than usual and the filling was thicker as well. The ingredients were all health wise selected, with fresh milk and etc. no artificial coloring or flavoring or preservatives. The only problem was, everyone who purchased the sun cakes complained that upon returning home and eating the sun cakes, it was completely different from the ones we tasted at the store. We've been buying suncakes from this shop every time we visited Taichung since 10 years ago. IMO after eating suncakes from many different bakeries over the years, their suncakes are still the best in Taiwan! Unlike other suncakes which only have malt sugar, their suncakes feature a milk flavour and is mildly sweet.
