The quality of the food at this establishment is truly excellent—a real shame, then, that the front-facing staff seems determined to spoil the entire experience. My recent interaction with an employee concerning a straightforward request was not just disappointing; it was genuinely alarming and insulting. We were calling ahead simply to inquire about the ingredients in the children's menu items, a critical step because our child suffers from severe food allergies. This wasn't a complex order or a last-minute demand, but a fundamental safety question. The lady who answered the phone at the front desk had a horrible, dismissive attitude from the very first word. When we specifically asked about the ingredients in the chicken dish to ensure it was safe for our child, her response was shocking. She didn't offer to check with the kitchen, look at a menu, or even suggest a safer alternative. Instead, she offered a cold, callous refusal: "I have no idea. Just eat it or leave it." This is more than just bad customer service; it's a profound lack of basic human empathy and professionalism. When a customer's inquiry is directly related to a child's health and safety, this kind of nonchalant indifference is intolerable. It sends a clear message that the well-being of their patrons is not a priority. It is heartbreaking to witness a restaurant pour so much talent into creating genuinely great food only to hire staff who clearly do not give a single thought about service, courtesy, or the serious needs of their guests. What a terrible shame to have a thriving kitchen undermined by such a dismal attitude at the front of house.
So if you want a decent food please go ahead But customers service, don’t...
Read moreIf you're looking for the best Indian cuisine in Taichung, then you absolutely must try the naan cheese at this amazing restaurant! This is truly the ultimate comfort food - freshly baked naan bread, warm and chewy, topped with melted cheese that's rich and savory.
But the naan cheese is just the beginning of the culinary delights that await you at this fantastic establishment. Their fish curry is simply divine, with tender chunks of fish simmered in a fragrant and flavorful sauce that will transport your taste buds straight to the coast of India.
And when it comes to beverages, you absolutely can't miss their authentic masala tea - perfectly brewed and spiced with just the right amount of cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon.
But the food and drink are just part of what makes this restaurant so special. The ambiance is absolutely delightful, with warm lighting, cozy seating, and lovely decor that will make you feel right at home. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date night or a special occasion with friends and family.
And last but not least, the staff at this restaurant are simply wonderful. They are super accommodating and always go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are happy and satisfied.
Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you're looking for fantastic Indian food, great ambiance, and exceptional service, then look no further than this gem...
Read moreWe just finished a family dinner here, and i had high hopes for this restaurant as it was Michelin recommended, but having tried this place i must question how they hoodwinked the Michelin company. First, let me say i eat a lot of Indian food, north and south, and many of my friends are Indian. The variety of curries they offer is limited, and none of them are fresh or “traditional taste” as they claim in their advertisements. The curries, naan and drinks came within 2 minutes of us ordering, which will tell you none of it is freshly made, the meats are all overcooked, the curries too sweet, and the mango lassi tasting like artificial mangos. Worse, they cleared the table 30 minutes after our meal after inquiring if we were done with one particular dish. It was a dinner with our relatives so i did not want to ruin their evenings more than this restaurant already did. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for real and fresh...
