FReNCHIE FReNCHIE — Restaurant in Taichung

This is one of the top fine dining restaurants in this city, and I have had one of my best meals there in the category of fusion cuisine. The renowned Chef gives French dishes a Taiwanese twist and each and every dish was breathtakingly scrumptious!

The dishes are artistic and creative and stunningly beautiful with fantastic ingredients, and presented and introduced by a delightfully capable and warm staff.

The French Toast served on this visit was truly one of my favorite desserts ever, but so was the Prawn Delight, the Oxtail Goulasch, the Silky Seabass, and the Lion Head Pork Roll. 🫰

All in all a fabulous meal for very reasonable prices and I will be back often...

Our top highlights: French Fries with Spiced Golden Salted Egg (香料金沙薯條) Been a big fan of french fries and this one goes to the top of my all-time list! While the salted egg melts inside your mouth, you are also still able to feel the crispiness of the french fries. Taste like heaven!

Wagyu with Foie Gras Tournedos Rossini Burgers (和牛香煎爬肝羅西尼小漠) Wagyu is thiccc. On top of it, you also get foie gras, cheese, and crispy bun. These all high quality ingredients for only NT$680🥺, highly recommend!

The focaccia bread with olive oil + tomato sauce’s just amazing!! The truffle mushroom soup has a lot of flavor, though I think the soup can be hotter. The fish with asparagus and grains was a 10/10, I’m not a big fan of fish but they just somehow made it super lovable✨ Main course chicken rolls with foie gras were super tasty!! The skin is crispy and the chicken inside is super soft, goes well with the lime sauce 🤍. The dessert French toast can be the best French toast I’ve ever had. Goes well with the mint tea they served.
