Stumbled across this one-woman shop near Tainan Station that serves a variety of comfort food dishes that are plant forward!

There is an English menu with pictures available to make ordering as easy as possible. Everything is vegetarian and she’ll ask to check if you want your meal to be vegan by omitting an egg if needed. We went with the latter option for our two noodle dishes and they were great. The sesame noodle soup was hearty and warm, and we loved the fresh vegetables used. Only thing I’d change is that there needed to be tofu or some other plant protein to make it a complete meal.

I was impressed that she does everything herself. From taking orders to preparation and cleaning, it’s remarkable she’s able to keep up with demand.
