I had a totally different experience shopping for buns and bao here. It was a bit high end, however, the prices are not bad. The buns and baos are on the shelves and some are just too cute to eat. You shop as if you were buying groceries. The baos and buns that I got are simply delicious. The ladies working there were so nice and helpful. I simply regretted not getting more than I did. I stopped in on my way to lunch so I only got 2 each item. I would suggest that you quadruple or octuple your order when you go because their food...

As an absolute mantou lover myself, no reason for not coming to this shop. An eye boogling selection of buns within. Even better was the little counter selling a small selection of steamed buns and the perfect accompaniment of warm soya milk drink. Kudos to the owners for putting up small benches and table tops for customers. And while we chomp away on the steamy buns, we get to watch their staff kneading even more lovely pillows of surprise through the clear...
