Restaurant Review
Located in the heart of Tainan, this Western-style restaurant with a hint of local flair offers a delightful dining experience, blending flavors from the West with a touch of Taiwan’s unique taste.
Food: The menu is well-curated, offering a variety of dishes that appeal to diverse palates. While not extraordinary, the flavors are enjoyable and satisfying, earning a solid 7/10.
Service: The staff is attentive and friendly, striking the perfect balance between professional and approachable. Service is smooth and efficient, meriting a commendable 8/10.
Cleanliness: The restaurant is impeccably clean, from the dining area to the restrooms, which enhances the overall experience. Definitely a 9/10.
Parking: The biggest downside is parking. Being located in the city center makes finding a parking spot a daunting task. If you’re planning to visit, be prepared for a challenge in this area—just 2/10.
Ambiance: The decor is elegant but not overly formal, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s perfect for dining with friends or family, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a casual meal together.
In summary, this restaurant is a great choice for those seeking a blend of Western and local cuisine in an elegant yet relaxed setting. Just make sure to plan ahead...

They quickly arranged a seat for us, took down our contact and asked if there was any occasion we were celebrating, any allergies or dietary preference. They also accommodated our request to change a cold noodle to something warm. You need to try their Garlic Chips with Beef. The beef is so tender, well marinated and the garlic chips are so good and crispy. Their seafood soup is good, and so are their starter salad with beef gratin. We were too full to try their rice roll with salmon and they were so nice to change it to another dessert instead. Our total cost for 2 sets consisting of 1 starter, 1 soup, 1 main, 1 carbs, 1 dessert and 1 drink came up to NTD1687 (

The menu has English but not sure if staff had English skills - fortunately you can point to menu photos to select what you want in the set meal options. The staff was inflexible on modifications to the meal choices - for example, we didnt want any of the drinks and just wanted water, but they still insisted we choose one.
Overall, not a 4+ star experience as shown. I would recommend skipping this place when calories are valuable on a visit to...
