Serendipity 不經意的美好 — Restaurant in Tainan

I went here for dinner with my friend. This is an ideal place to bring a date with a relaxed, cozy, and unbeatable vibe. There was a QR code on the table to let you see the menu. You can call the staff to order when you’re ready. The staff was really nice and friendly. The food was served really quickly. We ordered a pasta, a burger, a coke, a milk tea, and their signature dessert. We started our meal with the bacon corn soup which was creamy, flavorful, and delicious. For the main course, the pasta had perfect texture, creamy sauce, and fresh shrimp which were a perfect combination. The beef burger was thick and juicy combined with onions, tomatoes, jalapenos and lettuce and a delicious bun. The milk tea had the perfect caramel flavor, but not too sweet. It was good for me to refresh my mouth after having my pasta and it made everything really balanced. We ended our meal with the signature ice cream served in a cute cheese shape. It was a delicious yogurt/cheese cake flavor. Honestly, I have a big sweet tooth so yogurt ice cream is not really my cup of tea. The first time I visited this place was on Jan 1st, 2022 - my very first time in Tainan. Now, 9 months later, I have now moved to Tainan and visited this cute little place again. Not quite a bistro, but an affordable little place where you can have some amazing burgers. The waitress is super friendly, especially since I haven't mastered the language yet, she was extra helpful and kind. What I love the most about this place (besides the food of course) is the interiors - with the books at the place settings, it is like the place for a bookish introvert like me to go and dine alone as a treat to myself. This was our comfort food moment. Being from Belgium we tend to avoid fries or burgers so we don’t get disappointed but after one week in Taiwan we really needed some comfort food and this place offered it !
