Great bar on Civic Blvd. The bar is designed as a 50s diner in retro chic. I came here with my wife and friend visiting from the states. The menu is English friendly for drinks but not for the food items. The vibe is uber cool with locals celebrating birthdays in fancy clothes or avant garde Korean fashion. Everyone is friendly and and fun. The bartenders are helpful but service was slightly slow. The drinks were delicious, strong and fun. The name of the bar is Heartbreak Bar translated to English. The drink names don't disappoint. With names like Let Bygones be Bygones, I Love You, Regular Friends, Last Dance are consistent with the theme. We challenged ourselves to drink all 9 specialty drinks but failed. The bar is so busy now that we had a limited reservation. We coul only get through 6 drinks. All of the drinks we were very happy with. Fun and a good experience. The flavors were strong and the alcohol level was high. If you're looking for a place to forget your last lover, this is the bar for you.

Heartbreak is a gem! The food is fantastic (love their dumplings, popcorn chicken, 滷味), drinks are top-notch (drink names are also super creative, fit well the store concept), and of course the staff, they are so friendly and incredibly helpful. The vibe is super cool and stylish with nice music playlist, sometimes they would invite famous Taiwanese DJs to play live. While the bar can get busy, it's never too loud to enjoy a good conversation with friends. I would highly recommend Heartbreak for a great night out, but definitely need to make reservation in advance.

Love the atmosphere and heartbreak concept. Every spot is here is photo worthy. As it was our first time visiting, a female bartender offered to explain every cocktail drink in the menu and even gave us cute stickers. The drinks and food was so good, we had the chicken wings, truffle fries, pork jowl and pork ribs. Nothing has disappointed us including the service. Never once we felt out of place just because we were tourists. I highly recommend to visit but please make a reservation as it gets crowded and there is a time limit too.
