Pawn Bar is hands down one of the best bars I’ve been to in Taipei. Whether you're going solo or with a group of friends, the atmosphere is welcoming, cozy, and full of character. The space is beautifully styled with a local Taiwanese theme that instantly transports you to a different time in history — it feels like stepping into an old movie scene with a modern twist.

The service here is absolutely top-notch. The bartender, Owen, is not only friendly and attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about drinks. His passion for mixology shows in every cocktail he makes. I was given amazing drink recommendations based on my preferences, and each one was spot-on — balanced, creative, and delicious.

The most unique bar experience I’ve ever had. The speakeasy is literally built out of an old pawn shop, and honors that history. You can pawn an item and write a story about it, and the shop will value your story for vouchers. Some of the drinks are based on the stories of past customers.
