Nice place with laidback atmosphere and very friendly staff. I would advise to book on weekends as it is getting full quick. Food wise, the American platter looks simple but everything is excellently prepared, the salad is extra fresh, the scrambled eggs are fluffy and well seasoned, the meats are good too. 那天的台北陽光剛好，天氣不冷不熱，空氣裡有一點初秋的香氣。我獨自出門，沒有特別要去哪，只是想找一個角落，好好地坐著，吃一頓慢慢來的早午餐。走著走著，不知道為什麼腳步被一棟老屋吸引，抬頭一看，二樓的小窗裡透著溫暖的黃光，窗邊擺著幾株植物，像是在偷偷邀請我上去。

空間不大，像童話故事裡的秘密小屋，地板踩起來有木頭的味道，桌椅不統一，但拼湊在一起卻意外協調。牆上貼著一些明信片與老照片，窗邊有一本本翻過許多次的書，有人安靜地讀著，也有人正低聲聊天，空氣裡飄著咖啡香與烘蛋的味道，一切都剛剛好，像是誤闖進一段被時間緩慢拉長的午後。

我點了一份早午餐拼盤和一杯熱拿鐵。沒多久，木盤就端上桌來：嫩煎蛋、炒菇、酥脆的德式香腸、烤到微焦的厚吐司、再加上一小碟手工果醬。每樣東西都看得出來是用心製作的，不是那種華麗的擺盤，而是讓人一眼就安心的「家常溫度」。我先咬了一口吐司，外酥內軟，帶著奶油香；接著是炒菇，簡單調味卻把香氣完整保留。沒有多餘的裝飾，卻每一口都讓人覺得被好好對待。

紅茶送上來的時候，杯口冒著熱氣，我喝了一口，微苦中帶著奶香，那個味道剛好安撫了我有點疲倦的心。看著窗外斜照進來的陽光灑在木地板上，我突然很感謝自己今天有出門，來到這個不算熱鬧卻令人心安的地方。

我一邊吃著早午餐，一邊打開筆記本隨手寫字，沒有特別要記錄什麼，只是讓思緒隨著咖啡香慢慢流動。也許是城市太吵，生活太快，這樣的閣樓、這樣的咖啡廳，才會顯得如此珍貴。它什麼都沒有強調，卻給了我一種久違的自在——不是刻意營造的...
