First-time visit to this ramen spot. We went there at tuesday around 17.30. Fortunately, the line up is not too long. We only need to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated. It's important to note that you need to place your order first and pay in cash only!
Each person in your group must order one ramen. They specialize in chicken-based soup, which adds a unique and flavorful twist to their ramen. The space accommodates about 17 seats but it is somewhat cozy, so be prepared for a snug dining experience.
I ordered Thick Chicken White Soup Ramen ($270). The soup, while thick, doesn't overwhelm the dish, maintaining a satisfying flavor. The chicken is not greasy. In the machine, you can choose the noodle, saltiness, less or more oil. Tang Yang Chicken ($70): Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. Plus, it comes at a reasonable price, so it’s highly recommended.
The waiting time can be a bit long, especially if the line is more than 10 people deep. However, if you find yourself in Zhongshan with a relatively short line, it's definitely worth a try. My visit to 池音 鶏白湯ラーメン in Taipei was a delightful surprise, offering one of the most delicious broths I've ever tasted. Arriving at 5pm, I was lucky to beat the rush, finding the place welcoming and comfortably quiet.
The restaurant's signature dish, the chicken broth ramen, was a culinary masterpiece. The broth, milky-white and richly flavored, struck a perfect balance of savory depth without being overwhelming. It was an exquisite representation of the Japanese ramen craft, with each sip of the broth leaving a lasting impression. The noodles, cooked to perfection, and the accompaniments like tender chicken pieces and fresh vegetables, complemented the broth wonderfully.
By the time I finished my meal, around 5:30 pm, a queue of about ten people had formed, a testament to the popularity and quality of 池音 鶏白湯ラーメン. This cozy ramen spot is a must-visit for anyone in Taipei looking for an authentic and mouth-watering ramen...
Read moreStumbled on this ramen place on accident. I was curious so walked in. The space was your typical small ramen spot. The service was pretty straight forward classic ramen restaurant. People on the reviews here complaining about the rude service have clearly never been to a classic good ramen joint.
Ordered the chicken ramen which was basically a simplified Tori paitan. Pretty creamy without being overbearing. The soup is definitely designed around the Taiwan palette, more light rather than intense; but still maintains a clear flavor. The chicken breast were nice and juicy with hints of oregano which made the flavor quite interesting in the context.
The noodles were pretty standard, nothing to really surprising: Slightly thinner noodles to pair with a thicker broth. Classic.
Overall, was surprisingly good. I wasn’t expecting much; and I got a lot more than I...
