i came down on 22 MARCH 2025 afternoon, here’s my honest review. EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE !!!!

STAFF ATTITUDE: A MALE STAFF - thin, pale skin, wears spectacles, was extremely rude and arrogant. i merely went over from the other side of the queue just to take a picture and left (side note: there was NO ONE there) and he continuously raised his voice at me telling me to get away and showed me an irritated face. once my order was ready, he gave me a annoyed look and SLAMMED the mochi on the desk, and yes, that was my last straw. this is absolutely unacceptable, no customers should be treated like that.

FOOD: 1/5⭐️ i can’t deny the mochi is really soft, but it was tasteless. skin was thick and barely any fillings. though their packaging is nice, but the main point is the mochi itself. there are nicer mochi at cheaper prices elsewhere.

with this kind of quality and having to face THIS KIND of SERVICE, i highly DO NOT recommend. save your money for cheaper and nicer mochi. this shop is definitely overrated in...

Yummy Milk mochi. I think the standard is quite similar to 方人也's but this is easier to find as they have a permanent shop front.

The mochi is bigger and I like that they offer a Box of 3 option where you can choose 3 flavours out of their 6. I tried the Peanut, Black Sesame and Taro. Black Sesame is my favourite, followed by the Peanut. Both fragrant in their own way and very generous fillings in the mochi, be sure to put it whole into your mouth else expect the filling to be falling out when you take just a bite. The taro was disappointing for me, the paste wasn't smooth and creamy enough.

I also got a Box of 6 for my colleagues to try - the red bean and chocolate one looked good too. Shall save it...

I visited Sa Bai Tian Mochi when I was traveling in Taipei, and it was a great experience! This place is takeout-only, so there’s no seating inside, but there’s a park right in front where you can sit and enjoy your mochi.

I ordered the peanut mochi, and the texture was really amazing, soft, chewy, and perfectly made. The peanut filling was delicious as well, and it was a nice little treat to enjoy while relaxing in the park.

If you’re in the area, definitely stop by for a quick snack. It’s a simple but...
